Dai was a person who made you feel good. His great sense of humour, and his passion for other people, raised me (and many others) up. I, like many others, knew him through Ringwood Grammar School where he used his keen interest in sports to help shape young lives. He made the boys into better men. I've had many teachers who's names I cannot remember, but Dai's influence still resonates within me 40+ years hence. Thank you, Dai. God bless you!

Mr. Dower; thank you for being my surrogate father after mine died suddenly when I was a boarder from 1966-1972. I enjoyed two ski trips with you and your lovely bride and have thought of you often in my new life in Canada. The greatest gift I ever received was you teaching me how to control my short temper through boxing.
RIP Mr. Dower
